Det är den 5 augusti 2013 idag, och det betyder att det är 6 år sen SNSD debuterade.
Jag gjorde tydligen inget inlägg förra året när de hade sin 5-årsdag, men det betyder bara att jag ska göra en nu!
Ja jag tänker skriva den på engelska bara för att jag är konstig på det sättet. ^^
Summer 2010, that's when it all started. A friend of mine showed me a video of 9 girls dancing, and I thought they were so cute, even though I didn't have the faintest of who they were, nor what they were singing. The video was called Gee, and I'm actually listening to it right now as I'm writing.
I found out more and more about them, and loved them even more.
That simple action of showing me that video, would change my life more than I could ever have imagined.
Fast forward to 2011, and there I was, having forgotten everything SNSD. I was going through a very hard time, things that I'd just want to forget about now. I wasn't genuinely happy, and if I hadn't remembered one thing, I don't think I would have recovered from those times (or at least not as good as I did).
I remembered those 9 girls I had watched, and decided to check up on them again. This time, they had just released a new song, The Boys. I loved it, and fell in love.
From there, I found this whole new genre of music, and I found myself genuinely feeling happy when I was listening to it.
You are the reason I'm as happy as I am today. You are the reason I'm as strong I am today.
To me, Girls' Generation isn't just a group of girls singing and dancing.
They're a source of happiness, love and strength.
They were a reason to smile and be happy when there weren't other reasons.
They are role models, proof you can achieve your dreams by working hard.
Thank you.
Me, I want to do the same for them. I want to be a reason for them to smile and be happy.
Girls, remember, Sones will always and always be there for you. If you fall, we will be there to catch you.
